Things are moving pretty well, so expect the new Final Prestige look to debut by early August.

I will most likely post a comparison showing how far we have come with this new look compared to the old look, so be on the lookout for sneak peaks soon!

In case you haven’t noticed, I have been away on vacation for the past week. Stars25 is on vacation this week so there is a little less activity going on on the Management side recently. We are still hard at work on new things that I am sure everyone will enjoy, including the release of the new skin, Bloodshot, which will hopefully be out by Sunday. The skin is finished, but we want to wait for when the whole Management Team is present for the release to take place.

In other news…

We recently upgraded the blog from WodPress 2.5 to 2.6.

We recently migrated servers due to some downtime over the past few days. It should be running smooth now.

We also have a new skin in the works! Can’t tell you anything yet, just know it will be light. It looks great so far and it will definitely improve by the time it is completed. Don’t count on it being released any time soon, though. It still has a bit of work to be done, and it will be a paid skin most likely, so stop complaining that you are too poor and don’t have $10-$20. If you are even in front of a computer reading this right now, you must have at least enough money to buy a skin. Don’t forget it costs money to keep this place running as well. Money doesn’t grow on trees. (No, money is not paper, it is cotton, look it up).

About a week or two ago, I previewed the skin, Lady in Red, with a small little image to give people a taste of what is to come. Today, I have a preview of Bloodshot.

After only a couple days of hardcore work on the new skin, Bloodshot, it is really turning out nicely. It is the little details that I think people will like most. It is a rather simple skin, but not completely blank at all. The colors go well together, and it almost has a story to it, which I like to do with my skins. They are much more interesting if there is a theme or story behind a skin, rather than just some random creation. With Stars25 helping out, the skin is progressing much faster than expected and there are a lot of nice touches he has made to the skin to make it look even better. I am very tempted to release an advertisement banner like I did with Lady in Red that hints at what the skin may look like, but I will discuss it with Stars25 first.

In other news, we know the default skin on Final Prestige isn’t the most glorifying, and we are aware of that. I know that normal members (and customers sometimes) cannot see a lot of the work that is going on with skinning on Final Prestige since most of the content is shrouded in secrecy, but trust me, we hear you out and we are currently working on jazzing up the forum a bit. You have to have a little bit of pity for the current skin, though. It lasted well over a year, and got a lot of praise the first few months it was unveiled on Final Prestige. (Not to mention the numerous people who constantly threatened to rip it, and still haven’t, as well as those who choose to completely take every single hex code, and use it in the exact same spot in an attempt to gain instant popularity and become some sort of God. Con-artists are all the same. You know who you are.)

P.S. The other skin we have in the works which is still yet to be unveiled, I believe, is being put on hold for now until Bloodshot is basically finished. More on that another day.
