Wednesday, October 1st, 2008So, some people may be wondering why admin validation is required for new users who join Final Prestige.
Apparently, some sort of Russian bot (possibly human) attack invaded a lot of IP .Boards, and I mean hundreds (possibly thousands), for reasons no one knows why, but IPS released a fix that doesn’t fix the problem. So for the time being, all new users must go through validation by me. I spent all day cleaning the board of bots with porn in their signatures and email addresses to keep Final Prestige bot-free. I will post updates on the situation soon.
